RCIP · COMMUNITY PATHWAY
Smaller communities,
shorter runway to PR.
The Rural Community Immigration Pilot lets participating rural and northern communities recommend workers they need for permanent residence. Lower thresholds, real jobs, and far less competition than the federal pool.

THE LANDSCAPE
What's actually
happening right now.
A quick read of the policy weather before we open your file - so the strategy fits the ground you're standing on.
RCIP works through local economic development organisations. Each participating community sets its own priority occupations, applies its own intake process, and issues a limited number of recommendations.
That local layer is the whole game. A candidate who matches a community's priority list and holds an offer from a designated employer there can reach permanent residence without ever competing on CRS - but only if the recommendation file is built the way that community wants it.
HOW WE WORK
Four phases. No handoffs.
Community & occupation match
We identify which participating communities are prioritising your occupation and currently accepting recommendation applications.
001Employer verification
Confirm designation status, wage compliance, and the genuineness of the offer - or support the employer through designation.
002Recommendation file
Community application prepared with settlement intent evidence, then tracked through the local intake process.
003Federal PR filing
On recommendation, we file the federal permanent residence application and handle any IRCC follow-up.
004WHAT'S INCLUDED
Every file,
every time.
Not add-ons. Not tiers. Every rural community immigration file we open ships with the full scope below - quoted flat, priced up front.
- 01Community and occupation eligibility matching
- 02Employer designation support
- 03Community recommendation applications
- 04Settlement intent evidence packages
- 05Federal permanent residence filing
- 06Work permit support while PR is processed
WHERE FILES FAIL
The three pitfalls we see most.
Missing the intake window
Communities open and close intake with very little notice and cap recommendations tightly.
Thin settlement evidence
A generic statement of intent reads as a stepping stone to a bigger city - and gets treated that way.
Non-designated employers
An offer from an undesignated employer cannot support an RCIP recommendation, however genuine the job is.
QUESTIONS WE GET
Straight answers.
Do I have to live in the community after PR?+
There is no legal restriction on mobility once you are a permanent resident, but the recommendation is granted on genuine intent to settle - and that intent is assessed carefully.
Can my family come with me?+
Yes. Spouses and dependent children are included in the permanent residence application, and spouses can usually obtain an open work permit.
Is RCIP easier than Express Entry?+
It is less competitive, not easier. There is no CRS ranking, but the community and employer requirements are strict.
